A man accused of hitting another man with a candlestick Saturday and then shooting him in the leg was arrested Monday, an Irmo police news release said.

Wilbur Cave, executive director of Allendale County Alive, spearheaded a rally Thursday in front of the now-defunct Sav-A-Lot grocery store in Allendale to marshal community support to reopen the store.
